AKN provides a valuable alternative for prospective members whose schedules preclude attendance at weekly morning meetings. The format is a brief, casual early evening session designed to be highly accessible.
- Agenda: Meetings typically include a concise program, updates on Kiwanis community service initiatives, and dedicated time for fellowship.
- Member Involvement: A core principle of AKN is collaborative planning. All members actively serve on the committee to determine the programs, community service projects, and fellowship activities we undertake throughout the year. Fellowship is encouraged through shared snacks and occasional potlucks, and members are periodically invited to share personal stories.
